Ricardo G. Cedillo, et al. v. Immobiliere Jeuness Establishment; Case No. 14-15-00101-CV; In the Court of Appeals of Texas, Fourteenth District, Houston.
Defended an interlocutory appeal pursued by lawyers in a legal malpractice case after the trial court denied the lawyers’ motion to compel arbitration.
Inliner Americas, Inc. v. McComb Funding Group, LLC; Case No. 14-08-00350-CV; In the Court of Appeals of Texas, Fourteenth District, Houston.
Successfully pursued an appeal in a legal malpractice case for our client concerning the assignment of legal malpractice claims and settlement proceeds. The appellate court reversed the trial court’s summary judgment in favor of the attorneys and held that legal malpractice claims were not assignable.
